This
part of the web site contains career information about myself. If you have met me
along the way, why not drop me an email and keep in touch? The following
is a summary of what I've done and where I've been.
I was born in the USA and grew up in
England. I am a graduate of the University of Lancaster, England.
For the next nine years I worked in computer solutions sales and marketing for
Burroughs (now Unisys), Plessey Microsystems and Immediate Business Systems,
dealing with most types of industry. I then spent three years as a
Consultant with the Marketing Consultancy Division of PA Computers and
Telecommunications, working for clients such as IBM Europe, British Telecom,
the UK Government, etc. In 1986 I joined Reuters, and have worked in the
financial services sector ever since. With Reuters I worked in head office
product marketing and product planning, moved to Paris as a product marketing
manager for western Europe, and then moved to Frankfurt to become Marketing
Manager of Reuters Germany. In 1991 I joined Frankfurt Stock Exchange
(which became Deutsche Börse) as Manager of Exchange Products, responsible for
the DAX Index and market data products and services. In 1995 I moved to
Brussels to take up the role of secretary-general of the European Association
of Securities Dealers (EASD), where I helped in the creation of the EASDAQ
stock market. In 1997 I joined Viasoft Inc, moved back to England, and
became its International Solutions Manager. And in 1999 I joined Equant
Network Services as its Global Marketing Manager, Financial Network, where I helped
in the creation of Radianz Inc, the financial services community network. Radianz was bought by BT in 2005. I
now work as Head of Industry Initiatives, Global Banking & Financial
